It's quite sad to see Apple go total sell-out on us and do podcasting in the way that they have, but I'd just like to remind you that you can still subscribe to any podcast using iTunes, it works quite well and that as people find all these corporate podcasts to be a bore, they'll move on... to independent podcasts, hopefully.

Remember: Apple is a business, and now that it has gotten itself into a powerful position which doesn't necessarily need the appreciation of it's geek community, there's no real need for them to appease podcasters.

Update: I've also noticed how iTunes has fudged up iPodder and Odeo. Oh well.
