Well the massive international concert is underway, the headquarters of which is is London.

The BBC are doing some great coverage of the star-studded event, which even has Ricky Gervais!

I'm not entirely sure what the actionable message of Live 8 is - but as far as I can gather you really should make a trip to the Live 8 website and sign up. I suppose there isn't much the individual can do here (except donating regularly), but whole Africa situation is such a shambles, so every little helps.
